Television, in a better light
Lumavu plays the playlists and media servers you already have. Live TV comes with a proper guide, and films come with their artwork. It all stays quick, even when your provider sends you 65,000 of them
An IPTV player for the playlists you already have, on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV
We'll email you once, when Lumavu is on the App Store
Lumavu on iPad. Each playlist you add gets its own place in the sidebarLumavu on iPhone. What's on now is right there on the home screen
Bring what you already have
Sign in to an Xtream Codes account, paste an M3U link or open a playlist file, or point Lumavu at your own Jellyfin or Emby server. Give each one a colour and an icon so you can tell them apart, and decide how often it refreshes
- Xtream Codes
- Live TV, films, series and catch-up. Lumavu also shows when the account runs out and how many streams it allows
- M3U playlists
- From a link or a file. If the link turns out to be an Xtream account in disguise, Lumavu notices and signs in to that instead, so you get the films and catch-up as well
- Jellyfin and Emby
- Your own films and series, with their artwork
- XMLTV guides
- Extra guides, gzipped or not, with a time offset for the ones that run an hour out
Lumavu doesn't sell or include any channels. Use it with playlists and servers you have the right to watch

Know what's on before you start flicking through
Scroll the grid with the channel names pinned down the side, or switch to a plain list. Any channel with guide data shows what's on now and next. If your provider offers catch-up, you can go back for something you missed, or start the programme you've just walked in on from the beginning
When a stream drops, Lumavu finds another
Playlists often carry the same channel more than once. There might be a 4K copy, an HD one and an SD backup, and the same channel again in your second playlist. Lumavu treats them as one channel and starts on the copy you prefer
- 4KIt starts with the best copyOr it stops at Full HD, or goes easy on your data, if you'd rather
- ···The stream stallsIt won't open, it freezes, or the buffering wheel won't go away
- HDLumavu moves to the next copyOn its own, with a small note on screen so you know why the picture changed
- ✓And remembers what workedNext time, the channel opens on the copy that played
Four channels at once. You pick the one you hear
Tap a tile to hear it, double-tap to make it full screen. Most accounts only allow one or two streams at a time, so Lumavu keeps count. It plays each channel from whichever playlist has a stream free, and starts a waiting tile as soon as one opens up
ProMultiview is part of Lumavu Pro
Subtitles for live TV, written as it's spoken
Turn them on and Lumavu listens to the channel and types out what's being said, two lines at a time like broadcast captions, so the words stay still while you read them. It can translate as it goes, with the original underneath in smaller type
The listening and the translating both happen on your device, using Apple's own speech and translation tools, so nothing is sent anywhere. There are more than twenty languages, and each one downloads the first time you pick it. Live subtitles need iOS, iPadOS, macOS or tvOS 26. On Apple TV they're written out but not translated
Films and series, tidied up
Film and series pages open on their artwork, which drifts slowly behind the title. It remembers where you stopped, and the next episode starts on its own. The tags providers cram into names, like (2026), (Turkish) and [4K], are taken out of the title and shown underneath it in small print
Orbit Nine
A salvage pilot answers a distress call from a ship that, by every record she can find, never left the ground.
Kingdom of Glass
Whole seasons, saved for the long haul
Save a film or a whole season to your iPhone, iPad or Mac and watch it with no connection at all. Your place is shared with the streamed copy, so you can finish at home what you started on the plane
ProDownloads are part of Lumavu Pro
- Downloads keep going in the background, and pick up where they stopped if the connection drops
- If you start watching from the same account, the download waits until you've finished
- On iPhone and iPad they wait for Wi‑Fi, unless you tell them mobile data is fine
Live channels and HLS-only links can't be downloaded. Check your provider's terms too, as some don't allow saving
A 65,678-film library loads in 18 milliseconds
Instead of rereading your provider's whole list every time it starts, Lumavu keeps a compact copy of its own. Even a big account is ready almost at once, and search keeps up as you type

Questions
More on the support page
Does Lumavu come with channels?
No, it's a player. You add your own IPTV playlists, Xtream Codes accounts or media servers. If you want a look around first, you can load some free sample films, series and news channels
What can I add?
Xtream Codes accounts, M3U playlists as a link or a file, Jellyfin and Emby servers, and XMLTV guides. From Jellyfin and Emby you get films and series for now. Live TV from those servers isn't there yet
Which video formats does it play?
HLS and MP4 play in Apple's own player, with Picture in Picture and AirPlay. MKV, AVI, raw MPEG-TS, WebM, RTMP and the rest go to Lumavu's second engine. You don't have to choose: it picks one, and tries the other if a stream won't play
How many channels can I watch at once?
Up to four in Multiview, which is part of Pro. Your provider decides how many streams an account can have at once, usually one or two. Lumavu knows the limit, and plays from another playlist when one account is full
Does it work on iPhone Duo?
Yes, and it's the same purchase as on iPhone. Closed, the outside screen has the iPhone app. Open it and the inside screen switches to the iPad layout, with your playlists down the side
Is there Chromecast?
Not at launch. AirPlay works from iPhone, iPad and Mac, for streams that play in Apple's player
When does it launch?
Soon. Join the waitlist at the bottom of the page and we'll let you know
